The Lost Bird Project

Saturday, November 4, 2017 to Sunday, October 21, 2018

The Cummer Museum presents The Lost Bird Project-
Created by sculptor Todd McGrain, The Lost Bird Project recognizes the tragedy of North American birds that have been driven to extinction. To date, bronze memorials have been dedicated to the Passenger Pigeon, Carolina Parakeet, Labrador Duck, Great Auk, and Heath Hen. These sculptures ask us not to forget, and remind us of our duty to prevent further extinction.
